Animated Riso Print

£35.00

Have you ever seen a Muybridge photo series of, say, a cat running and thought, “I wish I could see it move”? Me too! That’s why I made this animated print based on Muybridge’s “Cat; trotting; change to galloping.” As a bonus, I added a little extra fat on her. And thus was born: “Fat trotting.”

Now you can see Muybridge’s cat run whenever you want. All you have to do is place this print in a room with plenty of natural light and scan the QR code!

Three colour riso print on 250 gsm Tree Free paper.

Dimensions: 29.7 cm x 42 cm or 11.7 in x 16.5 in.

Printed in sunflower, copper and seafoam by Duplikat Press in London.

Limited edition of 50, signed, stamped and numbered.

What is riso printing?

Riso or risograph printing is a printing method that originated in Japan to produce large amounts of prints in an affordable way. Due to each colour being printed separately using plant-based inks, each print is unique and has a handmade feel to it.
